"That first Corvette" is a question I'm often asked, and this is where my story begins....

As with all Corvette owners I enjoy talking about my many Corvettes, but my first one I bought in 1959. It was a '56 copper beauty. Marriage and other important matters were reason enough to move on to other cars, and the '56 was sold in 1963. After that there was an awful period in my life when I didn't own a Corvette for about 7 or 8 years.

Then I bought my first "project car" to restore. The car turned out real nice, and so my hobby was off and running. In 1970 I bought the red '56 Corvette that is shown on this page to my right. It began life as a daily driver and then evolved into a vintage race car in 1989 for 10 years. It has been restored to its present condition today as an NCRS Corvette.

The car on my left is a '57 and a new addition to my collection. It is a 3 speed, single quad. Over the past 30 years I have owned, bought and sold some 28 different Corvettes. Dan has done 2 complete "body offs" for me and has advised and assisted in more. I value his friendship and look forward to his advice on more Vettes to come.
